There's nothing like a beautiful day to put you in a good mood. It started with a good breakfast--eggs, sausage, and a croissant sandwich, plus friends to make me laugh. Continuing, I had a philosophy class outside in the grass and warm Spring air. Later, I wandered around with friends and had a delicious iced coffee. After more wandering, hilarity, and a nice sunburn, I settled into my room and just chilled. All-in-all, I'd say that was the best day in a while.
On to more fun things that probably only I am interested in... I've continued writing an old script. When I say old, I mean almost a year old. I started this one last year (around this time I think, actually,) and didn't get very far. Later, I started a rewrite and got even less far. Now, today, probably a year or so later, I've started writing again. And, to be honest, I don't hate the script as much as I did when I put it down. It definitely has potential. Which is good.
By the way: I get to see a British independent film before most of America. Not only that, but I get a Q&A session with the director and producer. Ah, the perks of being a film major (note: there aren't many.)
I've had a metric ass-ton of different blogs on different sites. The longest I stuck to one was nigh on three years, and a large number of those posts were pretty insignificant anyway. So... Here I am, starting yet another blog. Well, why the hell not, right?
I'm the regular cameraman for PhiladelphiArt. I film interviews and events and just whatever they tell me to film. If you see a video on that blog, chances are I filmed it or at least edited it. This is what I do with my life--besides all the other things I do with my life. I make films. Yay! Hopefully I'll soon start making money instead.
I'm currently beginning the editing process for a film I did with Emily and Britt of PhiladelphiArt. It's called "The Best Laid Plans" and I'm really hoping it doesn't turn out to be a... Well... Piece of crap. Good luck to me I suppose.
